Motion Photography Reflection Questions


1) The stop motion picture of the hands throwing the confetti is my best shot from this assignment. I think this because the photo is simple and doesn't have a lot going on at once. 

2) The weakest shot from this assignment is the picture of the ink falling into the cup. I think this because the colors of the ink and the color inside the cup were very similar. 

3) The weakest image can be improved in future assignments by using different color inks that contrast more against the water. 

4) I used Photoshop the pictures, I used the cropping tool along with the brightness tool. 

5) I was able to meet the goals for this project by taking the right content photos and editing the photos. 

6) The easy part about this assignment was editing the photos, as the editing was simple. 

7) The difficult part of this assignment was taking the photos correctly, as many photos required more tries to get the photo correct. 

8) If I could do this assignment again I would try to go to different locations, or catch a picture of the rain. 

9) I give myself around 9, as this project is very simple to complete with some of the only difficulties being that some of the photos wouldn't come out the way I wanted them to in the first shoot.

Do Now Ansel Adams

1) The type of photography that Ansel specializes in is landscape photography. 2) He brought out the texture in the photos by taking photos at different angles and by focusing on where the light is and how it could be used to enhance the photos. 3) My opinion on his work is that, his work is really beautiful and simple, showing the different textures of the world along with playing with the light to make certain things shine more than others. 4) I feel this way because the photos are really old and I find it interesting when I see things from other decades, the photo of Golden Gate before the bridge is the picture I found the most interesting.
