Depth of Field Reflection Questions

1) My best shot from this assignment is the low depth picture of the armrest. I think this because the picture. to me is both simple and complex at the same time due to the way the texture of the handle is brought out.

2) The weakest shot from this assignment would be the high depth picture of the branch in front of the colorful tree. I think this because, the editing of this picture wasn't able to take out the gloomy look the picture gives.

3) The weakest shot from this assignment could be improved in the future by trying to take this photo on a day where it is more sunny. As it could help improve the quality of the picture.

4) I used Photoshop to edit these photos. Some of the tools I used included the cropping tool, and the contrast tool.

5) I was able to meet the objectives of this project by taking the photos needed, and editing all the photos with Photoshop.

6) The easiest part of this assignment was editing the photos because it would be easy to try and change the brightness of the photo.

7) The most difficult part of this assignment was taking the photos because the photos would come out incorrect a lot and I would have to try and take more pictures of the same sight to try and reach the goal.

8) If I could do this assignment again I would try to take different pictures of surroundings at the park, and more locations.

9) I give myself an 6-8, because the pictures seemed a little messy, and the editing wasn't really good.

Do Now Ansel Adams

1) The type of photography that Ansel specializes in is landscape photography. 2) He brought out the texture in the photos by taking photos at different angles and by focusing on where the light is and how it could be used to enhance the photos. 3) My opinion on his work is that, his work is really beautiful and simple, showing the different textures of the world along with playing with the light to make certain things shine more than others. 4) I feel this way because the photos are really old and I find it interesting when I see things from other decades, the photo of Golden Gate before the bridge is the picture I found the most interesting.
