Composition

This photo shows an example of number eight, (use of multiple subjects) as this photo shows two people walking on the beach with no distracting elements. 

This photo shows an example of number seven (use of leading lines) as this photo shows the view of the sky through the lines of a sidewalk wall bar. 
This photo shows an example of number six, (emphasizing height and distance) as this photo would show how drastically tall the building in this photo is by using a lower angle. 

This photo uses the number four (avoiding bull's eye') as this photo shows the building in the corner of this picture as to not focus the attention on only the building. 
This photo uses an example of number three (using the rule of thirds) as this photo would have the subjects positioned at a certain angle to which the attention is drawn to the two subjects. 
This photo uses an example of number three (rule of thirds) as this photo shows an example of how the two subjects are put farther to the left of the screen. 
This photo shows an example of number four (avoids bull's eye) as this photo shows the angle emphasizes the ground that the puppy is on.  
This photo shows an example of number one (simplicity) as this photo shows how there is no distracting elements surrounding the photo and the attention is drawn directly onto the puppy.

    These pictures are amazing the way you put color on just the people walking in the first picture looks amazing. although it looks amazing it would be easier to follow if there were an odd number of people it is still a great picture.

      Give her feedback not just compliments. Why is the puppy a great picture? What makes it that? What can she improve on?

    For your 3rd photo, your label is incorrect. For this to be Emphasizing Foreground the horizon line has to be in the upper half of the picture. Change this to the correct composition point. Hint: You are missing it from your list because you doubled up on this point in 2 pics.

    Image 6 does not match the label as the picture is way too dark in areas. Switch out the picture or use a different composition point for it.

    Image 7 does not match the label. There has to be more ground than sky. Again this could count as another comp point. Try switching the labels around on your pictures.

    Fix these to raise your grade.

    All your other labels are correct.

    All your images have excellent focus, lighting, color, and contrast! You should be proud! You are showing so much potential to be a strong photographer! You compositions are pretty good. Image 2 & 8 are especially strong. Your placement of the building and the angle of how the dog is laying is on point. Fantastic job overall!

Neon Black Light Photography Reflection Questions

1) My best shot from this assignment was the shot of the girls face from the side. This photo is really simple and the paint has a certain aesthetic to it. 2) My weakest shot from this assignment was the picture of the boys face from ahead. The paint pattern on this photo somewhat looked reflected as there were so many different colors being mixed. 3) The weakest shot could be improved in future shoots by using less paint. 4) I used Photoshop to edit the photos. I used the crop setting, the saturation, and many more other features. 5) I was able to meet the objectives of this assignment because I was able to take and edit the photos I needed to finish this project. 6) The easy part of this assignment was taking the photos.
