Reflection Questions (Texture)

1) My best shot from this project would be the photo of the tree from the side, I think this because the photo would show the different layers of the tree while also keeping it simple. 2) My weakest shot from this project was the photo of the seat from the side (the first one). I think this because there isn't that much texture shown in the photo. 3) The weakest shot can be improved in later shots because it can be shown at a different angles. 4) I used Photoshop to edit these photos. 5) I was able to meet the goals for this project by going outside and taking photos of the things outside. 6) The easiest thing about this assignment was taking pictures outside, and trying a bunch of different angles. 7) The most difficult thing about this assignment was the editing of the photos, as Photoshop is complicated and I would sometimes click the wrong button and ruin the photo. 8) Something I would do differently if I was to do this project again, is that I would go to differ...

1) The type of photography that Ansel specializes in is landscape photography. 2) He brought out the texture in the photos by taking photos at different angles and by focusing on where the light is and how it could be used to enhance the photos. 3) My opinion on his work is that, his work is really beautiful and simple, showing the different textures of the world along with playing with the light to make certain things shine more than others. 4) I feel this way because the photos are really old and I find it interesting when I see things from other decades, the photo of Golden Gate before the bridge is the picture I found the most interesting.

I think this because I like the way I was able to completely change the dynamic of the photo and how the colors are shown. 2)My weakest shot from this assignment was the picture of the gray sky shown through the sidewalk. I think this is the weakest shot because this shot has somewhat dead colors which causes a gloomy emotion to be associated with the photo. 3)The weakest shot could be better in future shoots by changing the position of how the photo was taken to make the photo have a better angle. 4)I used Photoshop to edit these photos, some of the tools I used included the stamp, the band-aid, and the light setting in which I would change the photo from black and white, or making the setting lighter or darker. \ 5)I was able to meet the expectations of this project by taking many different photos of different subjects out of school and on the weekend. 6)The easiest thing about...

This photo shows an example of number eight, (use of multiple subjects) as this photo shows two people walking on the beach with no distracting elements.  This photo shows an example of number seven (use of leading lines) as this photo shows the view of the sky through the lines of a sidewalk wall bar.  This photo shows an example of number six, (emphasizing height and distance) as this photo would show how drastically tall the building in this photo is by using a lower angle.  This photo uses the number four (avoiding bull's eye') as this photo shows the building in the corner of this picture as to not focus the attention on only the building.  This photo uses an example of number three (using the rule of thirds) as this photo would have the subjects positioned at a certain angle to which the attention is drawn to the two subjects.  This photo uses an example of number three (rule of thirds) as this photo shows an example of how the...
